From PEARL to CHANDNI CHOWK !

cover page

Chandni Chowk is one of the oldest and busiest markets
in Old Delhi, India. Chandni Chowk is located close to Old Delhi Railway Station. The Red Fort monument is located within the market. It was built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor of India Shah Jahan and designed by his daughter Jahanara. The market was once divided by canals (now closed) to reflect moonlight and remains one of India's largest wholesale markets.

A glimpse of my visual diary

After exploring half of chandni chowk,my group decided to
choose MALIWARA INTERSECTION as our macro area.

Maliwara

we talked to a few people there. They thought that we were

from some tax department XD . We had to show our ID cards as a proof :P.

I chose a jewellery store as my micro area . The owner of that shop is Mukesh Kumar. He answered all my questions with so much patience.
